Commercial showcase in Montérégie (Qc, Can)

Installation done in October 2024

Challenges:

  1. Complexity of climate management: Existing systems lack precision and responsiveness, generating high energy costs, particularly for heating and dehumidification.

  2. Achieving Climate Uniformity: In greenhouses, it is difficult to maintain optimal humidity levels consistently on a large scale.

  3. Tight space in the greenhouse: We have to insert our hardware into the top of the greenhouse between the thermal fabric and the roof.

Solutions:

  1. Technical improvements:

    • Optimizing the outdoor ecosystem with HVAC devices taking cold outdoor air and transforming it into cold water for indoor hardware.

    • Installation 5x faster than the first installation.

    • New part designs to improve performance

  2. Customer interface: Development of an interface to centralize the collection of climate data and facilitate real-time control.

Results :

We await the results on heating savings and productivity improvement, comparing these data to those obtained with an identical surface area and variety of tomatoes. In particular, we focus on the impact of new HVAC devices and ecosystem optimizations, which should allow better energy management and greater climate uniformity.
