The context
Serres Royales was facing large humidity variations in their greenhouses, an instability directly responsible for the emergence of diseases and reduced yields across 0.3 hectares of production.
The challenge
The greenhouse relied on ventilation-heating as its primary humidity management mechanism. An approach heavily dependent on outdoor climate conditions, costly in energy and unpredictable. The additional challenge was to integrate new equipment into a restricted greenhouse space without disrupting the crops in place.
Our solution
Bloom Climat installed 180 L/h of dehumidification capacity via Dahlia units, designing the integration in close collaboration with the client to minimise the impact on their crops. A sensor network was deployed in parallel to map the greenhouse climate in depth and identify problem areas. The entire system is accessible from a centralised web platform.
The results
Effective removal of excess humidity and stabilisation of climate conditions to reduce crop exposure to disease-prone environments.
